Who the heck is BSitko?

My real name is Bill Szczytko and yeah, I’m aware that there are too many consonants and not enough vowels. That name makes me different than most though don’t you think? This site, as you’ll find, is about being different. Thinking different. I know some stuff. I’m a technology guy by trade, I blog of course – duh – you’re here right now, I know social media, I know some marketing, I’m a parent of 2 small children. Doesn’t mean I’m going to call myself some expert at any of it, but you might find what I write to be pretty insightful.

I have a college degree and I love to read – about almost anything. I’m an information junkie. I know triumph. My two kids are a sign of that. I know failure – my dream, when I was 10, was to be six foot tall – I’m 5’11 1/2″.

I used to be 50 pounds heavier and now I’m not. I work in the Multifamily Industry for Maryland Management – that’s apartment rentals for those folks who don’t know. I like to inspire, make you think, maybe even change your perspective a little. Is that possible? I hope.

So stay…look around…read some stuff. I love writing…I’m sure you love reading. As far as I’m concerned, that’s a match made in heaven.
